Am I eligible for Legal Aid?
You may be eligible for legal aid depending upon your personal financial circumstances and the type of offence that you have been charged with. We can assist you to complete a Legal Aid Application form and answer any questions you may have regarding the application process.

To speed things up, if you believe you may be eligible for Legal Aid, you will need to bring the following documents to your first appointment:
1. Bank Statements or passbooks for the last two months;
2. Centrelink Income Statement;
3. Pay slips for the last four weeks (if working);
4. Last tax return and last profit & loss statements (if self-employed).
If you live with a de facto or spouse we will also require a copy of these documents for that person.
